Peggy Noe Stevens has devoted her life to hospitality, entertaining and developing spirit brand destinations for over 30 years. She has authored two books: Professional Presence: A Four-Part Guide to Building Your Personal Brand and The Woodford Reserve Culinary Cocktail Tour. Peggy’s newest release, Which Fork Do I Use with My Bourbon? (University Press of Kentucky, 2020), is a collaboration with fellow bourbon enthusiast and writer Susan Reigler. A Master Bourbon Taster who is also a certified etiquette, image and professional speaker, Peggy produces one-of-a-kind experiences for both people and places. Her approach conveys powerfully targeted brand messaging through environments while building confidence, self-awareness and professional presence in people.

Her career began in hospitality and marketing with Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where she was immersed in all aspects of guest services, professional event planning and the highest standards of culinary arts and entertaining. Peggy then moved to Brown-Forman Corporation to lead a newly developed travel and event planning department, managing over 100 whiskey industry events annually. Which Fork Do I Use with My Bourbon?, by Cheryl Solimini

While at Brown-Forman, she was also given the opportunity to move into the new frontier of experiential marketing, where she assimilated and directed an impressive portfolio of wine and spirit brand destinations, including Jack Daniel’s, Woodford Reserve Bourbon, and Sonoma Cutrer Vineyards. In this role, Peggy mastered the art of engaging people emotionally through their senses.

In many ways, Peggy has been a trail blazer for women. She is the world’s first female Master Bourbon Taster and in 2011, she founded the Bourbon Women Association, the first female consumer group in the industry to celebrate and support Kentucky’s signature product with a multi-city platform for women. Peggy was one of the originators of the concept and strategic development for the wildly successful Kentucky Bourbon Trail. In 2019 she was inducted into the prestigious Kentucky Distiller’s Association Bourbon Hall of Fame to honor her numerous contributions to the industry.

Author, global speaker, whiskey-taster and experience-maker, Peggy’s gracious, fresh and entertaining style keeps her in demand as a writer and speaker.
